4. 2. 2012 - Gaziantepspor - Galatasaray 1-2 (25° match day)

Despite the last 2 bad results in the league, Galatasaray keeps the lead over Fenerbahçe thanks to the victory over Gaziantepspor. The home team took the lead at 50' with Popov but Terim's side managed to equalise after only 2' with the new arrival Ateş and score the winning goal at 65' with Elmander, the team's best goal scorer. Next Sunday Galatasaray will face at Telekom Arena Kayserspor, who's currently 9th in the chart.

  Galatasaray finally managed to win the first match of the season away, in Ankara against the rivals of Ankaragücü. After risking something, Galatasaray closed the match already at 51' with another goal of Felipe Melo.

  First draw of the season for Galatasaray, who at Karabük against the home-team didn't manage to go beyond a 1-1.The match wasn't easy, above all considering that only after 13' Terim's side was in 10 men because of the red card given to Muslera. Felipe Melo equalised with a penalty at 8' to the end, after that Karabükspor scored with Erdem a few minutes before.

• 18. 9. 2011 - Galatasaray - Samsunspor 3-1 (2° match day)

  After the bad defeat in the first match of the season in the derby against Istambul B.S.B., Galatasaray gave a great performance at Telekom Arena against Samsunspor and in front of 35.000 faithful supporters. After the eurogoal of Melo after 17' and the draw of Sarp for the opponents, the home-team deservedly won thanks to Elmander and a penalty of Inan.
